Kelly and Michael were married at the Hampshire House in Boston (it is above the Cheers restaurant). We did most of the formal pictures in the Public Garden before the ceremony, which meant that they could enjoy a good portion of their cocktail hour. The Hampshire House, which is over 100 years old, is absolutely gorgeous–their wedding was so intimate, it was awesome. This, however, did stop the guests from dancing up a storm!

Back in May I took a trip with the Eliot-Pearson Department of Child Development at Tufts University to New Orleans for volunteer work. While there, we worked with three early childcare centers–two that were already re-built and running and one that was still trying to get back on its feet. I went on the trip to help, but also to document the experience. Several months later, I can now show images from the trip (the releases the parents signed didn’t allow for me to publish them on my own site, and I am very respectful of that). Anyway, now months later, there is a feature article about the trip, including some of my images! I am so happy to have been a part of this effort!
This story will only be there for a week, so if you try to visit after the week of 9/24, it won’t be there anymore.

Today I had the pleasure of photographing 6 week-old baby Nolan. His parents had gotten a gift certificate from a friend for a portrait shoot with me. I just love his chubby cheeks (and newborn cry face!).
