Sheena & John (August 5, 2006)
So, I am clearly a blogging deliquent–sorry for the delay with this one!
John and Sheena were married on August 5. I started at Sheena’s mom’s home where all of her bridesmaids, several aunts, and a grandma were

Sheena was so cute when getting ready; she wanted her bridesmaids to help her, but didn’t want to part from her shorts until the last minute!

After she finished getting ready, we went outside to take a few formals. The day clearly meant a lot to Sheena’s maid of honor, though all of the bridesmaids were clearly so happy to be such a big part of their big day!

Once at the church, these girls were a riot. In the back parking lot, they were practicing their walk timing so that it would be perfect!

Then Sheena arrived–she really wanted a picture of her in the limo but didn’t want anyone seeing her. I had one shot to get this image through a tiny-tiny crack in the window (though I just love her smile–she is clearly SO excited to be getting married to John!).

I also just want to comment on how beautiful the flowers were–they were so bright and matched the dresses perfectly.

The ceremony was so touching–words just can’t describe the love between both Sheena and John and from all their family and friends who were there (some from very far away!).

After the ceremony, we did family formals at the church and then headed over to Primavera for the reception. Here are two of my favorite images of their first dance:

Whew. That’s a lot of pictures for one post! If you want to check out a slideshow of their wedding, visit: www.laurabeals.com/photos/Sheena&John
